Rowmote works just like the hardware remote that came with your Mac, in more than forty apps — VLC, Plex, Kodi, Keynote, PowerPoint, Spotify, Music, QuickTime, and many more. Click-and-hold behaves exactly like the physical remote: hold right to fast-forward, click once for next. The Apps button switches between controllable programs and reaches your Mac's Dock.
Pro: trackpad and keyboard included
Rowmote Pro adds a multitouch trackpad with two-finger scrolling, right-click, dragging, and three- and four-finger gestures, plus a full wireless keyboard with modifier and extended characters. For a Mac connected to a TV or a projector, it replaces a mouse and keyboard entirely.
Thoughtful in the details
Sleep your Mac on demand and wake it over the network. Music pauses automatically when a call comes in. The screen shuts off when the device is face-down. Connections are securely authenticated, over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth tethering, and there's an optional dark interface for the home theater.
